As part of enriching our curriculum offer, year 5 pupils at Great Yarmouth Primary Academy had a trip to the Science Museum in London this half term.

GYPA Science MuseumPupils had the opportunity to walk around all the different exhibits and particularly enjoyed their interactive gallery; Wonderlab. Here pupils were able to engage practically with science- exploring friction on their different slides, the benefits of pulleys to lift weights (especially when challenging their teachers to a race to the top)! As well as many more interactive exhibits.

The coach trip also enabled pupils to see some of the key sights of our capital and loved identifying Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and the Shard to name a few.

The pupils represented the school brilliantly throughout the day and we couldn’t be prouder to have been able to share their excitement and enthusiasm towards learning in a new way.
